Scripture: Luke 1:5-25
Luke tells us that his aim in writing is so that his reader has certainty about the gospel. The first major scene in Luke’s gospel is not necessarily the way we might imagine him introducing the action–but on close examination, at every point, his introduction provides deep assurance about what God is doing.
