All of Western culture has been impacted by the Christian gospel. In Acts 1—15 we see where all of this began. God works through the sending church, the spoken word and a silencing of superstition. Wherever the gospel goes it meets some sort of superstition, however ‘sophisticated’ the superstition might consider itself to be!
