This climactic moment brings cosmic upheaval: lightning, thunder, earthquake, and the fall of Babylon, the great city. God’s righteous wrath is poured out in full, symbolised by the cup of fury and the devastating hail. The earth itself is shaken—mountains vanish, islands flee.
