How can we be fruitful at a time like this? For many of us, the last few weeks have been deeply frustrating and unproductive. But in our passage, John wants us to realise that the real key to worldwide, irrepressible fruit-bearing is the Lord Jesus. This apparently unproductive time is the time for fruitful ministry.
