There is only one recorded event of Jesus between his infancy and his public ministry at 30 years old. But why is this event recorded? Is it just about a lost child being found by his parents? Or is there more going on than it seems on the surface? In this incident we see the extraordinary way the Lord brings about his salvation through his incarnate Son, and adds to our certainty of all he accomplished.
