What happened that first Christmas?

John 6:51

What happened that first Christmas? In this verse, Jesus himself tells us from where he came, for what purpose, and the gift he came to bring.

John 6:51

51 I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. And the bread that I will give for the life of the world is my flesh.”

John 6:51 in all English translations
