What do we think we’re waiting for as Christians? The answer is obvious: Jesus. But it is so easy to lose sight of just who Jesus is and what it will be like when he returns. As Luke begins the final section of his gospel with a glimpse of the arrival of the kingdom and the end of the world, it is a great reminder for us. The Jesus we are waiting for is master and king.
