At the heart of the Christian faith is a personal relationship with Jesus. Christianity is about knowing him. But what does knowing Jesus actually look like? Paul speaks in terms of knowing his resurrection power in our lives today and having confidence of a future resurrection from the grave. It is the first of these two aspects of the resurrection that provides the greatest surprise. For the resurrection power of Jesus is experienced today in our partnership in the sufferings of Jesus.
