The heart in Deuteronomy

Deuteronomy 6:1-9

Deuteronomy 6 instructs us to love the Lord our God with all our heart and soul and might. And yet we are so fickle, how can we do this? We need to be (and have been) liberated. We need (and have got) a Mediator. We need (and have got) new hearts by the Spirit. So we should keep filling our hearts with God’s words and emptying our hearts of the lies of the evil one.
